Marija Kojić is an interior and furniture designer, who lives and works in Belgrade. She graduated in 2015 from the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac, module Interior Architecture. She enrolled into master studies the same year at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade, module Interior and Furniture Designer. She was rewarded as the best student of the Faculty of Philology and Arts in the field of applied arts. She was also awarded Dositeja scholarship from the Fund for Young Talents. So far she took part in a number of collective exhibitions in Serbia. She has realized projects in the field of interior and product design. She also acquired informal education as a participant of the second generation of Nelt educational program. She is active in various fields of creative industry. As a part of the team, she worked on redesigning the visual identity of the Tara Nacional Park. Set design is another field she got to explore, while working on the auteur film My Morning Laughter by Marko Đorđević. In 2017 she attended the international summer school in Skagen, Denmark, organized by the ONSDAGSSKOLEN network. She has worked as a freelancer since 2015. She was nominated in the Best Designer category at the Belgrade Furniture Fair in 2018 and won the MicroMacro Award at the sixth international exhibition ON ARCHITECTURE: New Materials and Design in Architecture and Art the same year.
